Who we are
This policy covers besthomerevamp.com, run by Best Home Revamp ("we", "us"). Our contact details are on our contact page, and privacy questions can be emailed to contact@besthomerevamp.com.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address, when you signed up and your agreement to receive the newsletter. Unsubscribing removes your address from the list.
- Technical information: our hosting provider keeps server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, pages requested and request times, used for security and reliability. To limit repeated or automated submissions, our form scripts keep a short-lived, scrambled record of the IP address used, deleted automatically after about an hour.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your project
- To send the newsletter if you signed up
- To protect the website from spam and misuse
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics tracking.
To display pages, your browser loads photos from Unsplash, fonts from Google Fonts and layout styles from the jsDelivr network. These services receive your IP address when a page loads. See the privacy policies of Unsplash, Google and jsDelivr.
Who we share it with
Your information is held by our website hosting and email providers, who process it for us. We share project details with professionals working on your project only with your agreement, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and, if your project goes ahead, for as long as needed for the project and its records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs follow our hosting provider's standard retention.
Keeping it safe
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, form submissions are checked on the server, and the newsletter list is stored where it cannot be opened from the web. No system is completely secure, so please do not send payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information through our forms.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@besthomerevamp.com, and you can leave the newsletter any time on our unsubscribe page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning home improvements. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or practices change. Updates take effect when they are posted here.
